Thank you for your time and consideration. This page contains additional work samples and showcases experience relevant to this opportunity.

Hello team Kalshi!

You are at the threshold of a truly unique opportunity—a convergence of technological advancement, rising frustration with legacy financial systems, a grassroots surge in retail financial literacy and investment intent. Your bold vision, coupled with the regulatory and technological mountains you’ve already summited, is impressive. To say I’m excited about this role would be an understatement; the opportunities for innovation and scale within this new asset class are vast.

Anyone that quotes both Rick and Morty and Winston Churchill in their company values has my attention. I appreciate the candor and the fact that you don’t take yourselves too seriously—your work speaks for itself. You set lofty goals, plan meticulously, and execute. You embrace doing hard things, own the outcome, push each other to do it all again, while learning from mistakes and celebrating success. Your values align with mine, and I would be honored to bring this level of commitment to your organization every day.

As someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at translating bold ideas into compelling brand stories, this role is a perfect match for my passion and expertise. With over 15 years of experience in design—primarily focused on brand, marketing, and growth—I’ve developed an intuitive knack for creating consistent, emotionally engaging creative that performs, and an iterative, systems-based mindset that allows this process to scale. I’m confident in my ability to bring fresh, creative energy to Kalshi’s brand, shaking off the stiff archetype so prevalent in legacy financial institutions. I’m eager to contribute my skills and collaborate with your team to shape the future of your design culture and drive your creative execution to new heights.

Thank you for considering my application. I understand you vet potential teammates thoroughly, but once hired, trust them deeply. I would be honored for the opportunity to call myself a Kalshian, and I look forward to discussing how I can contribute to building the financial ecosystem of the future.

Best regards,

Iterative Growth Testing

WORK SAMPLES

During my tenure at Weebly and Evernote my efforts were split between brand and growth marketing initiatives. All projects were approached with an iterative test-and-learn growth mindset. Extensive split testing and iteration for copy and visual creative was done across every channel and initiative: seasonal and brand campaigns, customer onboarding, lifecycle coms/customer journey (email, push/in app), paid media optimization, etc.

Tests were run on all segments of the marketing funnel (landing pages, pricing pages, sign up modals, etc.) targeting our various personas. I’ve also led design for content focused marketing tests like Weebly Guides (how to guides for small business ecommerce customers) & Evernote Habit Engagement (customer stats/engagement metrics paired with inspirational copy similar to a Spotify Wrapped format) .

Brand Identity

I’ve led brand design initiatives (including several full rebrands) at companies of all sizes. From publicly traded legacy brands to lean tech start ups and small businesses across a broad range of industries.

From the flashy and imaginative generation of raw creative concepts and executions, to the necessary grind of building foundational creative workflows, saleable processes, templates, asset libraries, and digital asset management systems that allow the creative machine to scale smoothly as as business needs grow.

I take particular pride in focusing on building cross functional unified design systems integrated across brand, marketing, and product teams.
